  • Like ocean

Only on the last week in Greece I surprisingly visited the marvellous nook called Kavo Paraiso.  Long lasting beach stripe is edged by high rocks which fall into the sea. Water element looks endless like ocean.  The beach is unfrequented, sand is so fine and soft, water rolls in white horses. Thanks to my friend…

  • Desert rose

Actually Kos is not so green as I supposed.  And in a summer time in the broiling sun vegetation is getting withered.

But till now I enjoy all these smells and a beautiful view. Especially I like staying on the beach, breathing and listening waves.

  • ..and Other Animals

The other day I spent a few peaceful and beautiful moments on the beach immersing into the wave whisper. And unexpectedly somebody approached to me sounding strange.  It turned out a very curious and frendly dog.  He sniffed all my stuff and me, wanted to play and then went away.

Also I saw tracks of unknown animals on a sand:

I cannot even imagine what the animal it is and hope never see it.

  • Il mare meraviglioso

Today it was a first time when I was on the beach a few hours. I was listening waves, feeling warmth on the sun and sand, and swimming also first time. Till now beach is quite empty and I enjoy it completely.

  • Rodos

Rodos is really nice in the old town.  Chivalrous epoch in architecture touches a heart.

Balconies like on Canaries and a lot of good shops.

  • Lovely Turkey

It’s only about 1 hour by boat from Kos to Bodrum.  I couldn’t even think that I’ll visit Turkey again especially from this part. Two countries are so near but have some subtle difference that is difficult for explanation but felt. So Bodrum is a white houses town.

With a beautiful castle on a peace of land that divides marina for two parts.

    Windmills are a famous sight.

Seaside promenade has many cafe with nice view and good food. I really recommend Bodrum Pasaji by quality of food and servise.

In some moments town shows its alike Greek sides.

Of course nice windmills among souvenirs.

And typical Turkish nazar boncuğu in different appearances.

    Türkiye, seni seviyorum!

  • Pretty Nisiros

Nisiros is a small island located in 40 min by ferry from Kos. It has a round shape with ancient volcano in the center. I’ve seen Teide and Vesuvio and have to say that this volcano is very strange. It’s not rising above but going down. And it’s still alive! If you walk on a crater you can feel warmth  from ground and there are boiling volcanic mud. Landscape is really lunar.

Port town Mandraki is very nice, spectacular. There is a very important Christian monastery with the miracle-working icon and castle.

Generally Mandraki is beautiful place, climbing up to the hill where a forest starts.

I like very much such narrow side streets, secret stairs, open doors to somebody else’s yards.

And here there are a lot of cats of different colors. Many of them look like wild.

  • Kos walk

The other day we had a little walk in Kos town. The pretty place.

    A lot of green.

    I’ve never seen such trees:

My friends cats lying on a sun in a quiet yard:

  • Odoriferous nature

Would you refuse to have a rose tree in your garden?..

    Or lavender in your yard?..

And enjoy smelling the meravigliosa bella di notte?.. 🙂
