Interesting that in every new place I invent for myself new combinations of food. Now in Greece I eat baklava with ice cream. Honey sweet, melts in the mouth. Mmm, delicious..

Lovely summer happiness
What is the main part of happiness when summer already is smelled in the air? Strawberry! Today I caught an offer of 3 packs for 5 eu. Red dress, red hair, red berries, dolce dolce dolce. Certainly passionate sunny energy turns around! It’s the very place for girls because of all is sweet.

Carpe diem

Caffè
Here people like to drink cold coffe – freddo cappuccino, freddo espresso. One of a receipts I offer you. Put some Nescafe frappè, add a little water, sugar if needed and than beat it up till foaming in two times up by a special small mixer. After all add more water and a lot of ice. It is said that this kind of Nescafe is issued specially for Greece. Enjoy your drink!

Italian trace
Ragazzi, here Italian! A lot of Vespa moto and some caffe. I like Vespa very much because it provides a very feminine way for driving dressing in dress. And such neighbourhood of antique and romantic 50th epochs is so amazing!
Undoubtly the name of this caffe is a replica from exactly that film of great Federico:

Nice bread
Here there is a similar kind of bread in Turkey and Greece – simit or koulouri. Crispy ring-shaped white bread with a sweet note and covered in sesame seeds. Very good for having a bite. Another food parallel is Spanish churros, some kind of doughnut. On a breakfast in a hotel I tryed touloumpa, that was similar with churro for me. And I tried it with hot chocolate as it must be in Spainish tradition!

Sweet taste
I found the delicious fuit which I know from Turkey – loquat or moúsmoulo. I guess it’s not so popular even here, I found it in a one supermarket only.

Ciao, vamos a la playa!
I think most of Greeks speak English. It’s amazing comparing to Spain. And they use quite familiar some words from other languages. For example I’ve heard ‘vamos’ in a first normal talk. I thought I have bananas in my ears and asked to clarify – what did you say? He said ‘vamos’ but with ‘v’ though in Castellano ‘b’ is correct. I asked another person who also used it, why vamos, does he speak Spanish? He said that they only say vamos and nothing more, just it was a popular song ‘Vamos a la playa’.
I was more surprised that they use ‘vamos’ and that’s why using ‘ciao’ didn’t make me a big surprise. It’s not so common as in Spain for example, but anyway nice to make such farewells.

Magical day on the goat isla
Today started with a famous Russian-Gipsy song “Black eyes” (Очи чёрные) on Greek, it was incredible, the song is beautiful and nice sounding in this language. Than we had a discovering trip on the one part of the isla. Кос – остров коз. On the way to Agios Focas we saw a few goats at the road. That place is famouse of its termal spring.
Of course the ‘city’, if it’s possible to say about town with 15000 of habitants, was the best. It’s small but has all needed. And I love cities.
Also I liked Lambi place with long strip of a white beach. By the way across the channel the Turkish coast is visible here only in 4-5 km from Kos. Türkiye seni sevioyorum!
